The University of Córdoba Press has published “Simetría y clases cristalinas”

The University of Córdoba Publications Service has just published Julieta Mérida García’s book "Simetría y clases cristalinas", which, starting from the concept of symmetry, examines the elements of symmetry without translation, their matrix representation, and the elements and operations involved, before going on to address symmetry groups, their classes and theorems, and concluding with a description of the 32 crystal classes and the tetragonal, orthorhombic, cubic, hexagonal and trigonal, monoclinic and triclinic systems.

Presentation of the book “La música de las catedrales andaluzas y su proyección en América”, a study on the musical heritage of Andalusian cathedrals and its influence in the Americas

On Friday, June 10, at 7:00 PM, the presentation of the book La música de las catedrales andaluzas y su proyección en América will take place in the Mudéjar Hall of the University Rectorate. The University of Córdoba Press has published “Traducción y tradición. Textos Humanísticos y Literarios”, a book on translation and the humanistic and literary tradition

"Literary translation [in the words of A. Hurtado contained in a now-classic monograph] is perhaps the one with the longest tradition. A stand at the Book Fair promotes the editorial collections of the University of Córdoba

The editorial collection of the University of Córdoba will be present at the 38th Book Fair, which was inaugurated this morning on the Bulevar del Gran Capitán, at stand no. 26. Set up by the Publishing Service, visitors will find an extensive sample of the institution's editorial production. This year, the university has also funded the publication of Bernardo Atxaga's inaugural lecture "Otra mirada" and is participating in the program of activities by presenting several books and collaborating on other initiatives.
