UCOPress, the University of Córdoba’s publishing house, has published a scientific atlas containing 274 previously unpublished images of fish testicles and ovaries, a fundamental resource in the fields of reproductive biology and comparative anatomy. The work, the result of years of research, provides a detailed overview of the structure and ultrastructure of the gonads using optical and electron microscopy techniques. The visual material is drawn entirely from studies carried out at the Department of Anatomy and Pathological Anatomy at the University of Córdoba and the SCAI Microscopy Service.
