Juan Pedro Monferrer Sala is a Professor of Arabic and Islamic Studies at the University of Córdoba. New volume of the translation studies journal “Hikma”, published by the Publications Service

The Publications Service of the University of Córdoba has published the ninth volume of the translation studies journal Hikma , which compiles a total of eleven works of diverse characteristics, ranging from topics related to translation and literary analysis concerning text, literary language, or the author, and studies on the concept of context in English-Spanish translations or information retrieval and translation and their milestones in the globalization process, to poetic issues such as the melancholic influence of English pre-Romantic poets in France, the elegiac melancholy of the late 18th century in France, or the poetry of Francisco Acuyo in Portuguese.…
