New Publication from UCOPress: “La Universidad de Córdoba: de sus orígenes al siglo XXI”

Con motivo del cincuentenario de la Universidad de Córdoba (UCO), creada el 18 de agosto de 1972, la institución académica ha impulsado una ambiciosa agenda de actividades y proyectos conmemorativos a lo largo de 2022. Entre ellos destaca la publicación en UCOPress Editorial Universidad de Córdoba de "La Universidad de Córdoba: de sus orígenes al siglo XXI", una obra que ofrece, por primera vez, un recorrido riguroso y documentado por los orígenes y evolución de la universidad cordobesa. “El antiguo Palacio Episcopal de Córdoba. Transformaciones de usos y espacios,” a new book from the University of Córdoba Publications Service

The former Episcopal Palace of Córdoba appears to be located on top of a Visigothic palace. Earlier, on the same site, within the Andalusian Alcázar, it extended even further into the terrain, where buttresses of the wall are still preserved. From the Reconquista until the end of the 20th century, it served as the seat of the bishops of Córdoba, undergoing various architectural modifications.
