The book “ETSIAM” delves into the memory of the University of Córdoba

Photographer Manuel Muñoz presented the book ETSIAM this morning, a collection of images depicting the empty spaces of the former building of the School of Agricultural and Forestry Engineering, thus offering an approach to the memory of the University of Córdoba. The work was published by the UCO Publications Service in collaboration with the Rafael Botí Plastic Arts Foundation. The University of Córdoba Press has published “Tierra de hechiceros. Arte indígena de Patagonia Septentrional Argentina”, a new book on indigenous art from northern Argentine Patagonia.

En su investigación sobre el arte indígena de un sector del centro-oeste de Patagonia septentrional, María Teresa Boschin, se propone con esta obra, coeditada por los Servicios de Publicaciones de las Universidades de Salamanca y Córdoba, alcanzar una «lectura» del legado iconográfico de las sociedades indígenas. Para ello, sobrepasa la metodología convencional arqueográfica en busca de un enfoque interpretativo que permita descubrir las circunstancias sociales que motivaron, hacia el año 1000 d.
