The Teaching of Music in Spain (1823-1932), a work by Olga María Toro Egea, is part of research conducted by the author on music education in Spain during the 19th century, both in the school setting and in private instruction, and addresses a topic that, although fascinating, remains unknown to numerous sectors of society despite its relative historical proximity. The University of Córdoba Press has published “El antiguo Palacio Episcopal de Córdoba. Transformaciones de usos y espacios”

The former Episcopal Palace of Córdoba appears to be located on top of a Visigothic palace. Earlier, on the same site, within the Andalusian Alcázar, it extended even further into the terrain, where buttresses of the wall are still preserved. From the Reconquista until the end of the 20th century, it served as the seat of the bishops of Córdoba, undergoing various architectural modifications. The Universidad de Concepción (Chile) expresses gratitude for the donation of 111 books to its library by Spanish university presses

Olga Mora Mardones, Director of the Library System at the University of Concepción (Chile), has expressed gratitude in a letter sent to the president of UNE for the donation of 111 books by Spanish university presses, covering various fields of knowledge. Mora added that "this excellent donation will be incorporated into the Collection and made available to our university community." On Thursday, November 4, at 7:00 PM, at the Faculty of Labour Sciences and as part of the cultural events commemorating the centenary of the CNT, the book The libertarian struggles of the peasantry. Book presentation: “Averroes, el sabio cordobés que iluminó Europa”

On Tuesday, November 2, at 7:30 PM, at the headquarters of the Antonio Gala Foundation, and organised by Casa Árabe, the presentation of Andrés Martínez Lorca’s book Averroes, the Cordoban sage who illuminated Europe will take place. In addition to the author, the event will feature the Director General of Casa Árabe, Gema Martín; the City Council’s Councillor for Culture, Rafael Blanco Perea; University of Córdoba professor Ramón Román Alcalá; and the representative of El Páramo publishing house, Manuel González Mestre.
