The University of Córdoba has published the Book of Abstracts AI-AGRIFOOD 2026: International Scientific Congress on Artificial Intelligence in the Agri-Food System, a collection of abstracts from the scientific papers presented at the AI-AGRIFOOD 2026 international conference, celebrated in Córdoba on March 19 and 20.

Published by UCOPress Editorial Universidad de Córdoba, this volume brings together the leading contributions from national and international researchers on the use of artificial intelligence in the agri-food sector. The papers address key issues for the sector’s future, such as digitization, sustainability, decision-support systems, robotics, data spaces, smart agriculture, and other technological applications aimed at improving the efficiency and competitiveness of the agri-food chain.

The AI-AGRIFOOD 2026 conference brought together researchers, professionals, institutional representatives, and companies to exchange knowledge and analyze the challenges and opportunities posed by the integration of artificial intelligence into the agri-food system. The event was organized by the University of Córdoba, through the ENIA International Chair on Artificial Intelligence and Agriculture, in collaboration with the Andalusian Institute for Research and Training in Agriculture, Fisheries, Food, and Organic Production (IFAPA) and the Institute for Sustainable Agriculture (IAS-CSIC).

EThis project is part of the activities of the ENIA International Chair in Artificial Intelligence and Agriculture at the University of Córdoba (TSI-100921-2023-3), an initiative funded by the Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence and by the European Union through Next Generation EU funds, as part of the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan.
