UCOPress · Editorial Universidad de Córdoba has recently been awarded Level 4 accreditation under the TRÉBOL Programme, the highest level of commitment recognised under this University of Córdoba initiative for good environmental practices. This marks the culmination of its journey towards environmental improvement in record time: in July 2023, it was awarded the first level of TRÉBOL accreditation.
The Services that have already reached this level have done so because they have demonstrated an improvement in environmental performance, coordination amongst their members and a firm commitment on the part of those in charge of the Services.
The Trébol Programme is an initiative launched by the Environmental Protection Service (SEPA) of the Vice-Rectorate for Sustainable Campuses to promote good practices across the university’s departments; it sets out a series of progressive levels that certify the degree of environmental commitment of each department. Achieving this first level represents a significant step towards integrating sustainability criteria into this department’s activities, bringing it into line with the institution’s environmental policies and contributing to a university that is more committed to its local community. Full details of the initiative can be found at http://www.uco.es/programatrebol.
Anyone interested in attending an information session organised by SEPA can do so by emailing sepa@uco.es or by calling 957218790.
