2nd María Moliner Award for Teaching Innovation and Best Practices (Universidad de Córdoba, 2022)
UCOPress Editorial of the Universidad de Córdoba and the Leonor de Guzmán Chair of Women’s Studies, in collaboration with the Equality Department of the Diputación de Córdoba, invite you to the presentation and book signing of Con voz de mujer. La enseñanza de la historia de córdoba con perspectiva de género a través de itinerarios didácticos dramatizados by Nuria López Rey, winner of the 2nd María Moliner Award for Teaching Innovation and Best Practices (2022).
This book focuses on the search for new educational methodologies for teaching history that integrate women within a “total history.” To this end, it proposes didactic itineraries through the city of Córdoba, dramatized and written with a woman’s voice in chronological order. In total, seven itineraries are presented as didactic proposals that students and teachers can complete. Readers are invited to carry out the gender-perspective activities at the end of the dramatizations, featuring nine forgotten historical women from Córdoba or related to this city: Helvia Albina, Pola Argentaria, Faustina the Younger, Wallada, Muyha, Qasmuna, Leonor López de Córdoba, Leonor Rodríguez la Camacha de Montilla, and Magdalena Fernández de Córdoba.
The event will take place on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at 8:00 PM, in the Assembly Hall of IES Luis de Góngora (C. Diego de León, 2 · 14002 Córdoba).
