Heads of the publishing houses of Andalusian public universities held a meeting in Córdoba to discuss the possibility of carrying out joint actions to increase the visibility of book and journal publications. During the meeting held at the Rectorate, it was agreed to draft a joint report-dossier to be presented to the Regional Ministry of University, Research, and Innovation of the Regional Government of Andalusia. The Rector of the University of Córdoba, Manuel Torralbo Rodríguez, greeted the meeting participants.

The Board of Directors of the Association of Spanish University Presses (UNE) also participated in the meeting, within the framework of the bilateral meetings that this association is holding with publishing houses and publishing groups. During the meeting, technical secretary Joaquín Corbacho, Unebook manager Alejandro Fernández, and press officer Rosa de Bustos reported on the new UNE projects to be developed throughout 2023.
