A stand at the Book Fair promotes the editorial collections of the University of Córdoba

The editorial collection of the University of Córdoba will be present at the 38th Book Fair, which was inaugurated this morning on the Bulevar del Gran Capitán, at stand no. 26. Set up by the Publishing Service, visitors will find an extensive sample of the institution’s editorial production. This year, the university has also funded the publication of Bernardo Atxaga’s inaugural lecture “Otra mirada” and is participating in the program of activities by presenting several books and collaborating on other initiatives.

This year, the Fair features 41 exhibitors and 34 participants, including six Andalusian publishers, seven from Córdoba, and eleven local bookstores. The program includes 74 activities, bringing together authors such as Javier Sierra, Antonio Gómez Rufo, Nadal Prize winner Alicia Giménez Bartlett, Llatzer Moix, Espido Freire, and Alberto Vázquez Figueroa. This year’s edition is dedicated to the historical novel, featuring two round tables with the participation of National Narrative Prize winner Javier Cercas, Jesús Maeso de la Torre, José Calvo Poyato, and Manuel García Parody.
