Book of Abstracts. International Scientific Congress on Artificial Intelligence in the Agri-Food System

This volume brings together the abstracts accepted for presentation at AI-AGRIFOOD 2026: International Scientific Congress on Artificial Intelligence in the Agri-Food System, held in Córdoba, Spain, on 19–20 March 2026.

The book compiles scientific contributions focusing on the application of artificial intelligence to the agri-food system, covering areas such as digitalisation, predictive systems, robotics, data spaces, sustainability, smart agriculture, and technological innovation across the agri-food value chain.

The congress was organised by the University of Córdoba, through the ENIA International Chair on Artificial Intelligence and Agriculture, in collaboration with the Andalusian Institute for Agricultural, Fisheries, Food and Organic Production Research and Training (IFAPA) and the Institute of Sustainable Agriculture (IAS) of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). Its aim was to consolidate an international scientific forum for examining the advances, challenges, and opportunities associated with the application of artificial intelligence in the agri-food sector.

The ENIA International Chair on Artificial Intelligence and Agriculture is a university–industry initiative established by the University of Córdoba in partnership with its collaborating companies: Hispatec, Fertinagro Biotech, xFarm Technologies, and Deuser (Indra Group).
