The University of Córdoba and the Center for Documentation and Research of Arab-Christian Studies at Saint-Joseph University of Beirut (CEDRAC) have published, through the University of Córdoba Publishing Service, the sixth issue of the journal Collectanea Christiana Orientalia, an annual publication considered one of the most prominent in this field of studies.

Collectanea Christiana Orientalia is an international publication, both for its contributors, Advisory Board, bibliographic scope, and its joint direction by Professors Samir Khalil Samir and Juan Pedro Monferrer. This co-direction between Beirut and Córdoba simultaneously highlights the journal’s contribution to Syriac and, especially, Arab Christian studies. The thematic scope of the journal also includes topics related to rabbinic production, provided they are connected to Christian studies. The Arabic production of Christians encompasses both that developed in the East and in the West. Alongside the journal’s two fixed sections, dedicated to articles and critical reviews, this sixth issue includes a section dedicated to translations, conferences, and news.
