Synopsis

Practical Agroforestry Entomology is a workbook designed to guide practical learning that complements the theoretical training provided in Agricultural and Forestry Entomology courses. Through structured activities, direct observations, and identification exercises, the material promotes the development of skills in the morphological recognition, collection, and preparation of phytophagous insects, as well as the understanding of the damage they cause and their life cycles. Conceived from an applied and sustainable perspective, it integrates the fundamentals of phytophagous insect biology and ecology with training in integrated pest management. Its original illustrations and didactic approach encourage visual learning and scientific reflection, making it a valuable tool for both university teaching and introductions to applied entomology.
